What makes the Parlour experience so unique? It’s quite simple…

 

Quality over Quantity

At present, Parlour Travel produces just two signature, yearly experiences—The Travel Fly Solo Holiday and The Slow Down. As we continue to perfect The Slow Down, we are planning to add a more bespoke experience, La Commune in late Summer 2023. 

Unlike other brands, we do not cram our calendar with trips. We see every experience as an opportunity to perfect our formula, resulting in amazing experiences for our guests. It took 4 years of Travel Fly Solo Holiday experiences for us to feel confident that we could launch another trip (The Slow Down) that met our standards of excellence. 

We want every experience to feel one of a kind, with its own features and touches. To do this, we hyper-focus with our agents and vendors to craft our itineraries. Nothing formulaic or basic, only the best for our mavens.

 

Cultural Curation

Culture is at the center of everything we do, with a special eye on the cultures of the African Diaspora, as that reflects the women we serve. When it comes to our experiences, we work hard to make sure that our guests are connecting to the local culture of our destination authentically, with an extra effort to avoid the standard “tourist traps” or anything we deem to be exploitative to the local population or animals. Cooking classes, private concerts, historical tours and so much more are an integral part of the Parlour experience. This also means that we closely scrutinize the locality of our partners, making sure we have on-the-ground support that speaks the local language and knows the scene of our destination.

 

Commitment to Community

The team behind Parlour isn’t motivated by profit—we’re thankful that we don’t have to be. Instead, what pushes us is our community.

We would be nothing, absolutely nothing without the fierce support of our guests, who we lovingly refer to as our “mavens.” When you travel with Parlour you will be warmly welcomed by our community of discerning mavens who represent every facet of demographic, industry, and location. What unites them all is their love for travel, penchant for style, and desire to see the world in style.

To date, we have serviced over 200 dynamic women, many of whom (close to 40%) choose Parlour 2-3X to facilitate their travel desires. With such a high number of repeat mavens, naturally, we have built a community of women who stay connected year-round. New friends, business deals, even a job hire, and a love connection—all have netted from our wonderful community of mavens. Their commitment to the Parlour brand is what keeps up always aspiring to ‘beat our best’ as they deserve nothing less.
