Do you know what the problem is with most dreams?
They rarely turn into more than just a fleeting wish.Consider this: Of all the dreams you’ve had throughout your life, how many actually happened? Or how many, as Langston Hughes mentioned, shriveled up and died, never to make it to reality?Because you’re reading this, I’m going to go out on a very secure limb and guess that most of your dreams have not come to pass. While you may have attributed their lack of existence to the fact that they were too lofty and unreasonable, I’d wager that your dreams have yet to come true because you failed to do the work to make them happen.Yup, I said it. It was your fault.Maybe you got psyched out from Jump Street and didn’t fully believe in your ability to make them happen, or maybe you tried and it just didn’t work out. Either way, charge it to your effort, not the fact that your dreams were impossible in the first place.Don’t believe me? Henry Ford said it best:“The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right.
Which one are you?”Although giving yourself permission to dream is an integral part of living a fulfilling life, actually putting a plan in motion that will help you realize those dreams is the most important piece of the puzzle.Without proper planning, hard work, and sheer determination to make it work, your dreams will fail. Simple as that. All of the cheerleading and hand-holding in the world will be in vain if you don’t possess the (and sometimes irrational) belief that you will succeed. This ability—to forgo a Plan B because you are completely committed to your goals—is not easy to come by.Despite the fact that I’ve completely shifted my life over the past two years, I still struggle to believe in myself.  I still question whether or not I’ve got what it takes to “make it,” but you know what? I keep trying.I don’t have a Plan B. I don’t have a fall back. If this doesn’t work out for me, I’m shit out of luck, so I work hard to make it happen. This insane self-confidence is something you need to have tucked away right along with your plan of attack. First you dream, then you believe you can do it (no matter what anybody says), and then you get it done.Head over to BritniDanielle.com to grab your free copy of Break Out of Your Box and begin changing your life today!
