The #GreatGirlfriendEscape: Keena

So just what can happen when twelve fly women descend onto Dubai? Keena and her crew just had the #GreatGirlfriendEscape of a lifetime:

Although we look like we’re set to tape a season of The Real Housewives of Dubai, we were just a group of 12 millennial women exploring the Middle East. We rented a villa on the Palm Jumeirah with 6 beds/baths, a driver affectionately known as Uncle Haj, and a housekeeper named Fatima who prepared breakfast for us each morning.

We woke up to beautiful sunny skies and made the most of our trip visiting the largest malls in the world and the seven-star hotel Burj Al Arab for afternoon tea, and most memorably did a safari trip which included cruising through sand dunes, riding camels, and culminating in a traditional bbq full of live entertainment, delicious food and a henna station. During our down time, we shopped at the gold and spice souks and enjoyed the pool at the villa or the ocean, which was steps away from our backdoor.

I will NEVER forget this trip. It was so fun and full of amazing cultural experiences. If you haven’t gone, put it on your list!- Keena
